MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Recovery is usually smooth after a wrist fusion. While heavy activity may need to be avoided during the initial few weeks, work can be gradually resumed after a few weeks of physiotherapy to gain muscle strength and activity. It would be best to discuss the expected prognosis in detail with your treating orthopedician.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
