Infertility after Dermoid Cyst removal.

I had a dermoid cyst removed in June of 2010.  I really want to get pregnant, but I am still not having a regular period 9 months after the surgery.  Does anyone have any experience or know how long it takes to have a regular cycle after cyst removal?  And how long I should wait before I seek Dr. for infertility help?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks!  I guess I am just kind of afraid to see a fertility expert in case I get bad news!  But I know I should, thanks for your good wishes!

I think it is time for you to see a fertility expert.  Usually, your cycle will regulate within about 3 months.  It never hurts to have an expert opinion on something that is important to you!  It may be that your body is taking longer to adjust.  But, why wait?  You deserve the best care you can get!!! :)  I have friends who have had this problem.  Drugs like Clomid have worked wonders for them.  I wish you the best!  Please keep us updated on how you are doing!
