Cysts on the cerix are benign almost all of the time. They don't require treatment unless they are causing symptoms or growing larger. I don't think they are related to your lower back pain. Did your doctor plan any follow-up? Odds are with you that this is a benign condition. Best wishes.
i recently learned i have a cyst, mine on my ovary, and the doctor wasnt really helpful to explain what i would feel like. i googled it and found out that there are a lot of symptoms that i was having because of the cyst. i never would have tied them in. you kinda have to do your own research. i think the back pain is probably from your cysts.
Did an OB/GYN give you these results (not the ultra sound tech or nurse)? They should have given you some sort instructions in terms of follow-up. I would be worried too if they just gave me information and didn't explain it to me.
Assuming you are dealing with an OB/GYN could you call them and ask the questions you have? I know it's scary sometimes, but you deserve to have all of your questions answered.
In the mean time: Mayoclinic.com offers, "Cervical cysts — mucus-filled lumps that form on the cervix — are rarely cancerous", and from Healthtree.com, "Like ovarian cysts, cysts on cervical surfaces aren't usually harmful or malignant. For the most part, they do not have severe symptoms or require any treatment."
But, It is important to touch base with your doctor. It sounds like you have a few questions for him/her.
Hope I was of some help.
