Hi, In answer to your question about cervical cancer cells relating to ovarian issues, no, I don't believe the are related at all.  I've tried looking it up and can find nothing suggesting that the two are related.  I hope your doctor is keeping up with more than regular checks for the cervical issues.

Your cyst is large and if it doesn't go away after a couple of menstrual cycles then it will most likely have to come out.  Maybe your doctor won't even make you wait.  It's difficult for them to tell what kind of cyst you have.  Maybe your doctor will have a CT scan done.

I notice your appointment is today.  I hope you were able to ask all your questions and find out a little more about your course of action.

Good luck!

It is quite possible that the shots they gave you to help regulate your periods may have contributed to the forming of the cyst.  It is likely they will wait a month or two and see if the cyst resolves itself.  It it hasn't they will likely do a laparoscopic surgery to remove them and check to ensure they are benign.  Over 95% are benign.  There is some good info on cysts on the health pages (top right).  Good luck and keep us posted.
