I 'm not usually good at giving advice but I felt compelled to write you because i know exactly how you feel.  I had a CT scan in september for something unrelated but they found a "very large pelvic mass".  Well i of course paniced because the word "mass" sounds horrific.  I was referred for an ultrasound & sent to my GYN which of course took a few weeks - just enough time to drive myself crazy!  Please try not to worry too much - I know easier said then done.  I did end up having 3 ovarian cysts which I had surgery to remove.  Good luck.  Waiting is the hardest part!

Are your cycles normal? Cysts can definitely interfere with them and cause weight gain.  Find comfort in knowing though that cysts are mostly benign.  Talk to your doctor and find out exactly what kind you have.  Try not to stress too much over it, though I know that's almost impossible. You came to the right place to get advice and information. Good luck with everything. Keep us posted.
