hi there i also have a complex cyst on my left ovary, and a simple cyst on my right. I have had cysts in the past with one of them i was hospitalized and tha cyst was drained. Then a couple years later i had another cyst that was bigger than my ovary they were supposed to remove my ovary, but it was saved. Now I'm going through the same thing as far as the doctors appt goes.they are setting my appt off for months. They dnt really know how i feel knowing that my cyst can grow as fast as it wants too. last time it grew bigger than my ovary and stop my ovary from getting blood within three weeks. Now it has been two months since they told me that i have 2 cysts. So just hang n there I will try to do the same.
Hi there,
I myself is going through the same thing right now. I had 4 cyst removed in the past and the most recent last year. I just fouund out last month that I have a complex cyst and maybe possible endometrioma. Now I'm waiting to see surgery is possible to remove the cyst and ovary. Just having test done for other things before scheduling surgery. Hopefully by September. I was on birth control when this occur and not taking anything now. Today is on of my worst day of pain and spent the day in bed with a heating pad. Not even pain medication works. Hang in there and be persistent.
hi there,
yes still waiting
i have been on the pill for 4 years none stop since my other one. but i have cronic endro and the pill doesnt seem to be working for me..
my ultra sound showed that it was likely an endometrioma complex cyst, same as last time.. its the size that bothers me.. as it attached its self to my ovary and tube last time and main reason i lost it last time.
we are going to complain again, as they just arent avaliable and never return your calls.
thanks again
evie xx
I am really sorry that you are still waiting. It is possible for an endometrioma to go away on its own. Have your tried taking bc pills to try to reduce the cyst? If your doctor can order some more tests, and determine your cyst is again an endometrioma, it may be a better bet to try to reduce it with bc pills or by draining the cyst since fertility is one of your main concerns. I think it is terrible that you have been waiting so long to be seen. I think they should have worked you in sooner, regardless of the mix-up! Endometriomas often recur due to fluctuating hormones and endometriosis. The fact that you already had one, makes another one more likely. Hang in there!
