Does Laparoscopy Affect Menstraul

Hello, i had my laparoscopy done october 5 of 2015 which is also the day I started my menstraul cycle , ehich lasted 5 days and was done like a normal period, now its time for my second period and its a day late, and i took a pregnancy test and it said negative i also am on the birth control patch, is it possible for the surgery to have cause a problem with my menstraul?

Yes, surgery can disrupt the cycle so no need to worry.

Yes, it can throw your first few cycles off. Your body may be responding to the stress worrying about surgery and all. Hope things regulate for you soon!
