Has anyone had cysts for a long time and got pregnant?

I been getting cysts for many years now.  I had a laproscopy once.  I still get cysts I haven't been on BC pills and they usually go away with my .  Anyway one of them just ruptured and I currently have one that is 5cm.  My doctor wants me to stay on BC pills for now.  I really prefer not to be on them.  Has anyone lived with cysts and got pregnant easily and not been on the pill?

That's what the doctor tells me if I get pregnant they will go away.  I can't right now though I am waiting to be settled and married and then God willingly that can happen for me.  So you always had cysts and weren't on bc pills?  Mine usually disappear with my period.  I should just stop going to doctors lol

I have been living with cysts for a long time now, and yes I got pregnant with my cysts.  Due to my pregnancy my cysts dissolved.  Of course years after giving birth they came back, but I refused to take bc pills myself.  It always gives me migraines and crazy mood swings.  But yes, the hormones make them subside.  That is the reason why mine went away with pregnancy.

Thanks a lot.  I fear that one day because of this I will have trouble.  I just stopped my pill with his consent though I was taking femcon fe and I been getting a migraine every day since!  So I called him he said to stop it said i would start to bleed in a few days which i'm really hoping for.  Then he wants me to start ortho tri cyclen lo again like I was on before this.  Cysts suck!

Hi, I think you should take your doctor's advice. My doctor recommended the same. The BC pills enhance the ovulation process, also reduced the constant pain i was getting in the lower quarter of my abdomen.

I have been living with ovarian cysts for over 3 years and it didn't affect me from getting pregnant. This was while i was off the BC pills. However, the cysts did interfere with my pregnancy results. The test results kept showing negative...so i had to get an ultrasound.
