Is this really normal?

I had a cyst removed 8 weeks ago.  The cyst was caused by endometrios.  My doctor wanted me to start birth control pills after my surgery to help cut down the endometrois from returning.  I started the pill on Aug. 25th when my peroid started and I have not stopped bleeding since.  I am starting to fell very down, and this is reaaly getting old.  I have not been with my husband in about three months due the pain I was experiencing, the surgery, and now this mess.  When I called my doctor i was told this was normal until my body got used to the pill & the trauma from surgery. Is this normal?  I took birth control pills before and this has never happened

I haven't been "with" my husband for about 2 months now, I just had surgery last week for my cyst. They are thinking it could be endometriosis but won't know for sure until the biopsy comes back. The really stinky part is I just got married 3 months ago. :( I know how you feel and the only two thinks keeping me up is one, this has to resolve itself eventually and two, this forum! Good luck and God Bless!
I also have been bleeding for a month and my doctor wants me off of all medicine so my body can get a "baseline" from all of the trauma it has been through.  Just another Dr's opinion I guess!

My Dr. did tell me at my last appointment to try stopping the pill for 4 days and then start again.  Have you ever heard of this?  I am sooo confused.

After my 1st surgery, it took forever for my body to figure out how things were supposed to work again.  Everyone is different.  If you are concerned, press your Dr until they will see you again.  Sorry your feeling yucky............
