Does The doctor think it is a fluid filled cyst? If you are getting some relief from symptoms it may be on the slow road to resolving. If they can cure you using bc pills that is certainly better than surgery. If bowels/constipation are troubling you, try some fiber remedies. I used to rely on Fiber Choice chewable tablets (made from fruit fiber), one in the morning and one at bedtime. If you do try this, start with just one tablet a day until you see how it works. Overdoing it with fiber can have one going to the bathroom much too often.
i had an appointment yesterday... my gyn said aside from my right ovary everything else is ok... ive been taking naproxen...it helps alot...but she told me it has to measure 6cm at least to be consider for a operation??
im in birth controls now.... it doesnt hurt alot anymore even if im not in naproxen... its a light burning and well yea it gets intense if i start walking around too much... she told me to keep my weight-120...and to visit her in 2 MONTHS!!!!!! or earlier if the pains get back to me.... :(
ive notice a light spotting in my underwear...like a light pinkish...my stomach and lower area gets real hot....no vomiting or fevers etc yet.... i dont want for this thing to continue growing... :'( i must say that the day before and that same day i found out of this..i walked alot and those were the only days it burned like hell... after resting i notice pain went away
I wonder if they busted and you have new ones I know I have that and they call it functional, ha yeah right the pain is horride and I almost pass out from the pain. yes they twist and they have like a stickery bush on them it is , well let me put it this way , major pain when the big ones bust, and I tell you I was glad I found out at least I know what it is and what I have to do , allthough it doesnt make the pain go away. 4cm is bad and may need to be removed look up the sizes of them on here I am sure I have seen it on here the last time I was on right after I found out why I felt like I was gonna die from the pain. don't let a doctor not give you pain med for it. thats why I call myself make a doc listen. you are the one in pain , not the other way around, make doc listen to you. make sure they are not just oh you will get through it , they need to tell you what you can do , and give you pain med. and do tests for anyother problems . they have a test for cancer , blood test , checks for the cells in your blood.
In terms of the change in the cyst, can't answer if it is bad or good. I too had the pains you described. Did the u/s and it tripled in size in 3 months...I am having it and my ovary removed. If you meant did it twist, you would KNOW! This is apparently extremely painful.
