Hypoechoic complex ovarian cyst

I have no idea what my results mean. I have an ovarian cyst  and I'm nervous about cancer. My doctor is referring me to a gyno to see whats inside the cyst. Whats all this mean here are my u/s results. Large hypoechoic nodule left ovary measuring 6.2 x 6.2 x 6.0 cm.
This
has mild internal echogenicity and likely due to slightly complex cyst.

First of all, ovarian cysts are common and most are benign (non-cancerous).

Unfortunately, ultrasound is not always definitive in identifying the type of cyst. But the fact that it says "slightly complex cyst" would indicate that it is not too concerning.  There are certain characteristics they look for when trying to determine if it is malignant such as size, thick septations, thick and irregular walls / papillary projections, high vascularity, and the amount of fluid in the abdomen. Once cysts get to be over 7cm or so, there is concern for ovarian torsion plus larger cysts have a higher risk for malignancy. But again, most cysts are benign. Hopefully, yours falls into this category. Please keep us posted. And try to remain calm!
