I have my TVUS results please help me interpret!

UTERUS: Anteverted measuring approximately 6.3 x 3.1 x 4.3 cm.

ENDOMETRIUM: The endometrium is heterogeneous and appears prominent along the
fundus measuring 12 mm in diameter.

RIGHT OVARY: 4.3 x 3.5 x 3.2 cm. This contains a complicated cyst with low
level internal echoes and multiple internal septations. The cyst overall
measures approximately 3.6 x 2.4 x 2.7 cm.

LEFT OVARY: 2.8 x 1.9 x 1.7 cm with multiple small follicles.

On Doppler assessment, both ovaries demonstrate vascular flow.

CUL-DE-SAC: No free fluid.

IMPRESSION: COMPLICATED RIGHT OVARIAN CYST MEASURING UP TO 3.6 CM IN SIZE.
FOLLOW UP IS NECESSARY IN A DIFFERENTIAL MENSTRUAL CYCLE IN 6-8 WEEKS TIME. IN
ADDITION, THERE IS PROMINENCE OF THE ENDOMETRIAL STRIPE ALONG THE FUNDUS WITH A
HETEROGENEOUS APPEARANCE AND RE-EVALUATION OF THE ENDOMETRIUM AT THAT TIME IS
ALSO RECOMMENDED.

Ok so thats what the report says... what should I make of this?  Complicated cyst and prominence of the endometrial stripe along the fundus with a heterogeneous appearance... What does that mean? Can anyone help me understand this report please?

You definitely need to wait and talk to your Doctor, and try not to spend too much time trying to figure it out yourself by Googling.  The internet is an amazing thing, but it can be your worst enemy at times.  Sit tight and wait for your consult, but don't hesitate to get back to the Dr. or the ER if your pain worsens before then.

I don't know how you got your report, but I wouldn't ever get it again without the Dr being there.  I have every legal right to get my reports but I wouldn't dream of it.  I am not a Dr and as much as I love some of these women I wouldn't ask them to interpret a report either.  It is best you wait until you see the Dr and let them tell you what all of that means.

My doctor only said that she can't determine anything until I wait 6-8 weeks and have another TVUS that she can compare it to. This is why I am getting a second opinion next wednesday. I have been in horrible pain in my back and stomach since last monday and its only gotten worse.. I may go to the ER if it gets any worse than this because I am at the point where my body is shaking a slight bit because it hurts sooo much... ugh what could this be from!?    :-(

I am shocked that doctors are letting patients have these reports before they are able to explain them.  I've never had access beforehand.
