No I haven't. My doctors just pushed me off to the other doctors when they found out that it was irritating my bms.
Maybe Premarin is not a good fit for you since you still have (insane) hot flashes. Have you tried any other types of estrogen such as a gel, patch, or the estradiol tablet (generic Estrace)? I had to switch HRT's because the first one I was prescribed left me with too many low E symptoms.
I have been in premarin and otc estroven and yes it makes my bms worse
Burning mouth can be a symptom of low estrogen. Are you saying estrogen makes your burning mouth worse?
my hysterectomy was in 2007. I have only had these recent symptoms for the last 2-3 years. I don't know where I am in menopause but one of the follicle tests showed that my levels were in the 60's when they were only supposed to be around 15. I can't take meds because it effects my burning mouth syndrome. My Hot flashes are insane.
Not having a uterus explains a lot. Weight gain is a common complaint after hysterectomy even if the ovaries are not removed. But weight gain or not, the lower abdomen gradually becomes distended after hysterectomy. The reason is because four sets of ligaments are cut to remove the uterus. Those ligaments are the structural supports for the pelvis keeping the spine, hips, and rib cage in their proper positions. After the ligaments are severed, the spine compresses, the hips widen, and the rib cage drops. This causes a shortened, thickened midsection, bigger belly and oftentimes a flat looking butt since the curve in the lower back is no longer there.
I also had a hysterectomy but ovaries were removed too. :( Frankly, I miss my uterus just as much as my ovaries because its removal has caused its own set of devastating effects.
How long ago was your hysterectomy?
Like 2 years. My stomach is hard below my belly button like a balloon.I am going through clothing sizes rapidly. I have had every test and the only thing that shows is the one cyst. I don't have a uterus.
Welcome to the community. Symptoms of ovarian cysts can vary quite a bit from one woman to another based on the size, type, and hormonal effects. How long have you been dealing with this?
