Mixed solid and cystic lesion

Hi all,
I'm curious as to what my ultra sound report says..
It states the uterus is retroverted. It measures 87 x 49 x 42mm in size (volume = 94ml). The endometrial stripe complex measures 4mm in thickness. There are no contents within the endometrial canal. The right ovary has a volume of 85ml, left ovary has a volume of 10ml. Within the right ovary there is a mixed solid and cystic lesion measuring 51 x 45 x 39mm in dimension. No internal vascularity or surrounding inflammation is present. There are no adnexal masses or cysts. No free fluid within pouch of Douglas.
Can someone explain this in simple terms and help me understand the mixed solid and cystic lesion and what it means?
Thank you

There are general risks when having pelvic surgery such as hemorrhage, blood clots, infection, nicking of bladder or bowel, anesthesia risks (those are the ones that come to mind). And then there are risks of losing the ovary and possibly other sex organ(s).

I was rushed into surgery for a 9.5cm suspicious looking ovarian cyst. Even though the frozen section done while I was in the operating room was benign, my gynecologist proceeded to remove the rest of my sex organs. I wish, for one, that I had not trusted my gynecologist of 20 years. And I wish I had known more about how the hysterectomy and ovary removal industry "operates" and taken the necessary steps to protect/keep my vital organs.

The uterus, ovaries, and tubes are essential a woman's whole life. The ovaries produce hormones into a woman's 80's. Removal of one ovary does not always cause a drop in hormones but it can even to the point of a surgical type "menopause." The uterus and its 4 sets of ligaments are the support structures for the pelvis. Hysterectomy destroys pelvic anatomy - bladder and bowel placement as well as the skeletal structure (spine, hips, rib cage).

Not yet I did try to get in though they are booked out all week but I have my gyno appointment Wednesday so I may have to wait to speak to them. I have had cysts removed when I was younger but did not have any risks involved (unsure if they warned me of risks as I was a bit naive).
Can I ask why you would have done it differently? Curious as no one has yet mentioned surgery n I'd like to make sure I'm informed this time around

The "mixed solid and cystic lesion" sounds like a complex cyst. MOST ovarian cysts, even complex ones, are benign (non-cancerous). And the "no internal vascularity" is an indication that it is benign. I would think the lack of inflammation is also a good sign as well as the lack of fluid in the pouch of Douglas and "no adnexal masses or cysts."

The dimensions "51 x 45 x 39mm" converts to "5.1 x 4.5 x 3.9cm." This is not overly large so your doctor may just want to monitor it. You do not want to have surgery if it is not necessary due to the risks.

Has your doctor discussed this with you and how he/she wants to proceed?

I was over-treated for an ovarian cyst and wish I had done things very differently.

Oh forgot to mention I'm 29yrs old I've had two children. I have have cysts b4 removed from both ovaries, that was b4 my 2 children. The gyno at the hospital have only checked me out once as I was in hospital twice with extreme pain showing all signs of appendix but instead found this cyst. It was first measured (3months ago) at 22 x 14 x 14mm. So I'm presuming from the higher numbers this time around it means it's grown but I don't understand mm only cm.. Can someone please help in my original comment as I do not understand this medical mumbo jumbo
