Have you ever been checked for endometriosis through lap surgery?
Get the pap smear as a precaution but ask about a laparoscopy.  I plan on doing this.  I'm looking for a specialist.

Assuming it is still 1.8 cm. When was it last measured? I would think it generally would be a bit small, unless it is just in the right spot to annoy something.
I believe other women on here had pain from small cysts, but I never payed much attention to that as I didnt have pelvic pain.

Frequent urination is supposed to be one of the most common symptoms of cysts. I guess they take up room where your bladder is. Of course it is also a symptom of UTI, if so the antibiotics should cure it.

Pelvic pain is also one of the most common symptoms of cysts. It doesnt have to mean you have cancer, the risk of that is very small.
It sounds to me like the cyst is getting bigger or pressing on some organs, which affects your body. Try not to worry too much but make sure you let your doctor know you are getting more discomfort. You should feel better once the cyst is gone.

Good luck I hope you feel better soon

Here is a list of symptoms a woman can have with a cyst.  I know how you feel because I have been going through the same thing for years.  I worry too (its normal) but getting overly anxious will do you no good.  Call your obgyn and discuss your concerns.  Schedule a pap smear to be on the same side.
Here's that list. . . .

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS * Dull aching, or severe, sudden, and sharp pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen (one or both sides), pelvis, vagina, lower back, or thighs; pain may be constant or intermittent --this is the most common symptom * Fullness, heaviness, pressure, swelling, or bloating in the abdomen * Breast tenderness * Pain during or shortly after beginning or end of menstrual period. * Irregular periods, or abnormal uterine bleeding or spotting * Change in frequency or ease of urination (such as inability to fully empty the bladder), or difficulty with bowel movements due to pressure on adjacent pelvic anatomy * Weight gain * Nausea or vomiting * Fatigue * Infertility * Increased level of hair growth * Increased facial hair or body hair * Headaches * Strange pains in ribs, which feel muscular * Bloating * Strange nodules that
feel like bruises under the layer of
skin.
Cysts that persist beyond two or three menstrual cycles, or occur in post-
menopausal women, may indicate
more serious disease and should
be investigated through
ultrasonography and laparoscopy,
especially in cases where family
members have had ovarian cancer
so chances of a cyst being
malignant is very less and if you don't have a positive family
history chances are more less.
