Hi, so I was visiting a new Gyn and told him about my irregular periods, he proceeded to have tests done(blood and ultrasound) to check for polycystiic ovarian disease. I did not get my test results until I had a visit with my primary doctor who asked if my doctor contacted me about my ultrasounds results because they found something, and told me that my uterus was enlarged to that of a three month pregnancy.
So i made an appt to see my Gyn who coldly and vaguely told me my blood tests came back fine and my ultrasound came back fine except that i have cysts on my ovaries so I have Polycystic ovarian dis. he said nothing of the enlarged uterus, and told me if i did not regulate my period, it will lead to cancer and I probably wont be able to have more kids( i have a 16 mth old) he also told he was doing nothing about the cysts, and that was it. My question is why didnt he mention the enlarged uterus and what does it mean with my cysts? Also I didnt get my results till months after the tests, could it have gotten worse. Lately Ive had very frequent urination, fullness in my lower stomach, pains as well in my lower stomach, I really don't know what to think, please help. I would find a new doctor but my insurance was cut off and I have to wait for it to be processed again.
