My brother has renel and thyroid cancer and my mother has lymphnoma, so family history could be why the doctor suspects cancer. She also stated that after the pelvic exam and vaginal ultrasound results it was bilateral and complex and it was attaching itself to the cuff as well as my other symptoms all leaned toward cancer. I just don't understand the upper right quadrant pain though.
Thanks for reading my post and supporting my worries.
Hi, I'm sorry you are in such pain. Did the doctor tell you what makes him think "the possibility of cancer" is stronger? I didn't understand why he said that.
There is no "normal" in these situations. Everyone is different. Adhesions do happen frequently, but it is not indicative of cancer. It's just something that happened to you.
The type of surgery will depend on many different factors, mostly relating to your personal history. The least invasive surgery is done laproscopically with tiny incisions in your abdomen. They may also consider an open surgery, (due to the size of the cyst, and other health related factors). This is what I had done, and I am healing very well.
Please read through other posts with similar conditions, you will see that there are alot of women facing your situation.
We are here to support you, encourage you and listen when you need an ear.
Please keep us posted!
