ovarian remnants

i just had my right ovary removed(3 weeks ago) because i had a huge mucinous cystadenoma.the doctor did the laparotomy procedure to take out the cyst. my surgical incision is now healed however i am ccurrently feeling a strange sensation inside as if in the area where my ovary used to be. i am not qiute sure what it mean. i wanted to know whether it is just part of the normal healing process or should i think about some complications such as ovarian remnants or adhesion? how long from the surgery would an ovarian remnants actually develop? pls can anybody answer me those questions..thank you

Hi,
I am new on this website and i am still trying to figure it out. I have a question for you guys. Did you have to take a Ca125 blood test before your surgeries? My doctor sent me for this test and my cyst is to be removed sometimes in august. I am just curious if it is a routin test before surgery or if i should be worried? I hope i hear from one of you since i am really worried. I am just 27 years old, and the cyst that i have on my right overy is 8.5cm and it is hemorrhagic or possibly endometrioma. I am so worried that i might loose  my ovary and that my chanses of havin children will be decreased. Hope to hear from you.

It is normal. After 3 months of my surgery(right ovary removed), I still feel pinch on right side, I have consulted my cousin who is ObGyn, she told me its normal. Internal healing takes time. 3 Weeks is so soon, I remember after 5 weeks I used to feel twinge even wearing Jeans.
