What percentage of complex cysts are cancer?

Does anyone know what percentage of complex cysts are cancerous?  I've read on here that 95 percent of cysts are benign, but does that go for complex cysts as well as simple cysts?  Thanks!  I'm just trying to ease my mind.

I just had my left ovary removed which was completely surrounded by a complex cystic mass.  My ovary wasn't even detectable on the ultasound, it was like the cyst ate it!  The surgery was 6 weeks ago and it turned out to be completely benign.  Try not to worry!   It will be okay.

It's my understanding that 95% of all ovarian cysts are benign.. Actually I've heard that Ovarian Cancer, while not "rare" , is uncommon. You see a lot of women that have Ovarian Cancer on the Ovca Forum, but that's just a concentrated number of women. It isn't a common cancer.

And, just a piece of advice.. try not to worry yourself to death by going on the internet too frequently, or analyzing too much... We've all been there and done that.. even though we were warned not to. There is a lot of information out there, but some is outdated, and some is just plain inaccurate..When is your surgery? (I'm sorry if I overlooked this)
There are a lot of members that have had complex cysts and I'm sure they'll be checking in.... Take care...
