I have pain in my right lower abdominal area (right ovarian cyst), unrelenting back pain, and I have nausea quite often which is something new for me.  I have had more frequent headaches which are indicative of the change in hormones.

My symptoms are pain in the lower left abdomen in the ovary area only , sometimes lower left back pain too and sometimes pain like being stabbed in my side at waist level. Just recently the pain has been occuring in the same places on the right side (last few weeks) The pain is like labour pains and is worse during period and ovulation

I meant to say pain during sex, sometimes so bad I have to stop. All symptoms seem to be worse right before and during my period as well as about 2 weeks after probably during ovulation

Mostly it's a dull pain on my left side, right at the edge/under my pelvis.  I want to push on it or touch it and I can't, which is frustrating.  Occasionally it's sharper pain that Advil will not take away so I will take half a Vicodin.  It presses on my leg tendons or nerves (probably both).  Pain with sex occasionally, only once was it so bad I couldn't do it.  It kind of feels like my vagina is shaped like a coke bottle rather than a tube when the cyst is bigger.  My pain is normally the few days surrounding ovulation, sometimes right before at the beginning of my period, but never as bad as during ovulation.  I get nausea in the mornings, I'm tired, my immunity system is weakened.  I have major SI joint problems from carrying my daughter, so I don't know if they're causing extra pain in that area or not, I usually get a little swollen in the SI area during PMS time.

I had surgery in Dec to drain two cysts, and they're back, so I am familiar with these symptoms and know what they are.  I'm pretty aware of what's going on inside my body.  My cysts are functional and I've been told I have PCOS in the past, although this is the first time I've ever had cysts cause a problem.  I'm 37 and have a 9 year old.

Pain on left side.  Pain during intercourse.  Lower abdomen sensitive to touch.  Pain while sitting.  Pain is not blinding, rather crampy and intermintent.
