A question I can't find the answer to

When I had my cyst removed she told my husband that it had probably been forming for years.  The really weird thing is that I was on birth control for many of those years.  I had been off of it for about 2 years and it was huge.  9 cm to be exact.  She also said it was the worst case she had ever seen.
I have this feeling that it's not gone for good.  I'll be going on birth control because of the number of medication allergies that I have.  I have a lot of them.
I am, however, concerned that since the removal of cyst that the swelling in my ovary hasn't gone down.
I got my period back but the blood appears to be stuck does anyone know why it would be stuck?  I'm going back to the doctor on Tuesday, and I'm not sure if I should be concerned or worried about this problem.

No it's coming out so slowly. Like it comes and goes. Sometimes heavy and sometimes light.  I've been sick to my stomach.  I can kind of pull it out if I try.

What do you mean by stuck?  Are you saying you just had a lighter period than expected?
