Hi, Sandy gave you a good description.  I just had a question for you.  What did they do a biopsy for?  Did they do a transvaginal ultrasound?  Are you going back in a month or 2 for another look at it?

Sorry for all the questions.  = )

Oh.. please don't worry. You've come to the right spot ! Did you have an Ultrasound? First of all... cysts are very very common in younger women ..and they're 95 % benign in case you even started to worry about that..!!

Removal is usually done by laparoscopy. That's a procedure where they make 3 small incisions  down the center from your belly button..  It is also done as an outpatient unless there are other health issues.  It's really not all that painful afterwards either. I was given pain pills which gave me a horrid headache so I took x strength tylenol instead.... They tell you not to drive or lift anything for 2 weeks. Although I felt pretty good after the first few days.. My stitches were taken out in 1 week.. It seemed to be more bothersome when I bent down or tried to lie on my side (which was bad since I sleep on my side) There is a great post from "Painterchic" which I'm going to bump to the top so you can read it.. It's humorous as well.. We're big on humor here !!! Also, go to the top of this page which says "Health Topics" and you will find a lot of information on cysts..
When is your procedure? Please stay in touch and try not to worry,
Sandy
