Reoccuring Dermoid Cysts

I keep having reoccuring dermoid cysts which I understand is very rare. I had surgery to remove cysts in 2001, 2007 and now it looks like they are back? Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone know what causes this to reoccur? We were trying to have children but it appears that this surgery may take priority.
Any insights would be helpful

I have been having the same problem with recurring cysts. I have had one surgery to have a large cyst removed and have been getting them for two years now. I have been to the doctor numerous times and they have not given me any answers. They keep saying there is no reason they appear. If you find anything out it would be great to hear!

Sorry your post sort of slipped under the radar.. we try to answer posts a little quicker. There are some ladies that have experience with dermoid cysts on the forum .. This will bump the post towards the top where it may be seen better.. As with most cysts, I don't think they are "back".. Just new cysts and I'm afraid I don't have much experience with recurring dermoid cysts . What has your Dr. said about this?  When is your surgery scheduled?

You might want to take a look at the top of this page "Health Pages" where there is a lot of information about cysts.

Take care,
Sandy
