please tell whats up

Multiple sonographic images were obtained in multiple projections using both the abdominal and endovaginal transducers.
Transvaginal study performed to attempt to see the ovaries more clearly.

Findings: The uterus is normal in size, shape and echotexture.  There are no focal defects.  The endometrial stripe is normal.  There is no evidence of endometrial fluid.

The right ovary is normal.

Within the left ovary, there is a large bilobed cyst versus a septated cyst with a thick septation.  This enlarges the ovary significantly.

Uterus = 7.4 x 3.8 x 4.5 cm
Endometrial stripe = 4 mm
Right ovary = 2.7 x 1.4 x 2.0 cm
Left ovary = 6.8 x 4.1 x 4.0 cm

IMPRESSION: Large bilobed cyst versus a thickly septated cyst in the left ovary.

Cysts commonly grow within the ovaries whether complex or simple and can have multiple lobes. You need to see other doctors for other opinions. Yours may be small enough to control with medication unless they expect a complexity or malignancy in which case surgery may be your best option. Best of luck to you

I am sorry that you did not get a response yet.  I would try to answer you - but I am also in the process of "trying to figure it out..."
But I have read a TON of things here - and there is a lot of help.  Maybe you can repost this question.  Have you asked your GYN?  Good luck to you!
