Thatsca good sign. I've broken 10-12 bones in my life and had a bad ankle sprain once. Wen i sprained my ankle I had tobwear a cart an all that. While they were evaluating me in the ER, one of the first questions was if i heard popping, and i did. I also had a badly broken toe, and wen that happened I heard the bones crack. If therecwas no popping idk if that means its fine cause many times i heard nothing wen i broke bones, but if u had heard it that wld b very bad. If u have swelling or bruising that's also a bad sign. How is it doing today? Usually the day after its worse. If its better than ull prolly be fine. If not, u heed to use ice, elevation and an otc Med for inflammation. If its not improving by Tues of wed then u shld have it xrayed and evaluated. In the meantime the 3 things I said r very important and i wld not put any kind of stress on it. Good luck
Thank you. I haven't heard any popping noises I don't think. my hips usually crack which is normal to me and that's the only.noise that I heard from my legs
I've had something similar before. It was a really sharp pain hut only in my knee, no swelling or bruising. I went to the ER then to an ortho. They cld tell there was inflammation but not wat was wrong without an MRI, but the ortho suspected I over stretched a ligament or something. Itvcleared up within a week i think. If u heard any pops or have swelling/bruising u need to b seen. If u don't go to dr u shld ice organs tskecan NSAID for inflammation. Good luck.
