Have you heard of tramadol?

I am 47, have had SCREAMING shoulder pain for 4 years.  I have no money and no insurance. Had MRI, all kinds of tests. Maybe nerves, maybe a bone spur.  No one  can figure out what this is.  I HATE long term narcotics. A chriropracer helped a little bit. tramadol did work for me, but what is this?  It's SO BAD.  I can't sleep.  It is literally a screaming pain and no one can figure out why.  I am relatively healthy, not over weight, etc. How do you live with this kind of pain? I  ******* need help before I kill myself Any ideas?

Tramadol is a synthetic narcotic that works well for moderate pain.  It has a lower addiction potential that narcotics.

I understand hating LT use of narcotics.  For me this has been a great alternative.  I have taken them for years, but only as needed.

Tramadol is a narcotic pain reliever with an antidepressant added to the mix.  I would be careful with it.  The docs think it is not addictive (that is what the salesmen tell them) but it is and hard to detox from.  Take it for a bit if it helps, but be cautious.
