Leg Pain

So this all started last night. I was up late because I wasn't tired so I was just relaxing on my computer when all of a sudden I felt like a lump was forming in my throat making it feel like my throat was closing up. Starting to get dizzy, I decided to head up to bed, but the sensation wouldn't go away. I knew if I took a benadryl just to be sure, I could put my mind at ease also and go to sleep. This morning I woke up with the lump gone, but the severe dizziness still present. My family and I went to church and the whole thing felt like a dream. I was so out of it and disoriented I had no idea what to do. The only change in medication I've gone through is that I'm trying to get off Paxil because all it does is make me extremely nauseous and give me bad diarrhea. I thought the lump in the throat and the dizziness was due to withdrawal, so my mind was at ease for a while until just a little while ago when my left leg started to hurt...a LOT. The upper leg more specifically. It feels like something is squeezing the top of my leg and my leg is going numb from the lack of blood. the leg doesn't look pale in comparison to the other one, but I'm still extremely dizzy and tired and my leg hurts no matter what I do; sitting, walking, lying down. It just hurts really bad. I'm getting panic attacks because I don't know what's going on, if it's nerve related, blood flow related, or muscle related. I did nothing to injure it.
Anyone have any ideas?

I wish I had some ideas but I really don't.  I just didn't want your question to be overlooked.  I hope someone comes along that may know something.  It can be quiet on the weekends, though; so you may get more answers tomorrow.

I don't know anything about Paxil, other than you need to taper off it.  Have you been tapering off under a doctor's care?  If not, you probably need to put a call into your doctor.  I'm sure they have someone on-call that can get back to you.

With the symptoms you're having, I think I might go to the ER, just to make sure everything is okay.  Either that or call your doctor and ask them what they think you should do.  Maybe they'll say wait until tomorrow and go in to see them.

I hope you're soon feeling better, and I hope you'll let us know what's going on.

I forgot to mention that I am a 20 year old female, 5'2" and 120 lbs. I've suffered with anxiety and depression for five years now and the only other medication I'm taking is propranolol for heart palpitations. I take one every other day.
