How do I fight back?

I havae been of oxycontin for 9 years for severe pain from three seperate cervical fusions. two knee surgerys. back pain with ruprured disk and eroded vertibrea and scinosis  of my merve paths in my back.  I started with a Great Dr. who was killed on  a bike  and went to another  Dr. for the past 5to 6 years. He does nerve blocks on me every 3 to 4 months like clock work.  I have been on 80 mg oxy. two twice a day and 60 mg. oxy 1 -3 times a day for breask thru pain.  This past month June  2013 I got a call for a pill count the first one I ever had there. I was  then kiced out because I was  off on my pill count.. I told them I would be because I had to waite 5 months for a nerve block because of new rules of s/s.

I tried to let them know I was about to die with pain but they just said I have to waite. I tried to get permission to take more meds but hte girls who answered the phone said I could not get an appt. to talk to him for months. So I did what  I had to do and they expelled me now what am I to do no one will take me now. Do I hae a legal path.  Billy

Wrong about going to the ER. I did that and they told me they could not see me because of the contract. That I was breaking my contract. Which is not true.  My Dr. Was gone in vacation and no one in her office would see me so again  they sent me back to ER. Again turned away. A nurse from the hospital. Called my clinic back ad told them they would not see me and the clinic had to see me. Finally I was given an appt I had to be there is 20 minutes. On my contract it does say someone can treat me if my Sr. Is out. Problem is. This ER docs don't read the contracts and r fast to dismiss u. I was not even touched by either ER docs I saw. Where is the doctors that came into this profession to help ppl? I have a big feeling the no service I was provided may have also been to the fact I'm in medical assistance as my pain has put me out of work.
The system is broken.

Let me get this straight They called you to ask you for a count of how many pills you had left and when they did not tally up right you were kicked out?

I agree with shinty, stay with this dr, get your injections, that would prove you are there because of the pain, not just for the pills. My pm dr is great about working me in, if the pain is so bad the meds don't help, even give me steroids to take and may even tell me to take a extra pain pill until I can see them, which in most cases is the next day. They even up my procedures if they can, you need to keep a good relationship with your pm.

Find yourself a new doctor and explain to them what happened at your last one. If u signed a contract you have no legal recourse so just find a new pm dr and move on. Live and learn my friend

If you signed a contract with this provider then you are out of luck. You are not supposed to take more of your pain medication without first contacting the doctor. If that's not possible and your pain is that bad, then you are supposed to go to an ER for help. You have no "legal path" to follow regarding this doctor. It's going to be very difficult for you to be treated with pain medications by other providers because of what you did. My only suggestion to possibly fix this situation would be to still see if you can keep your appointment to get your injection,  talk to the doctor about what happened, and see what happens. I do wish you the best of luck.
