I am not sure what this test is and what to expect.

My doctor is going to be doing a differential spinal on me, and he never told me what this test was.  I don't know what it is, what to expect, and just in general what the point of doing this test is.  Please help.  I don't want to go into this without knowing.  By the way, I have full-body RSD and numerous other health conditions.

From what I am reading, it's much like a steroid injection.  It could be for a diagnosis test, which I've had many.  What they've done for me is add something like lidocane to temporary completely numb the nerve to see if there is a future nerve burn or possible future steroid injection.  That is what usually diagnosis test is for, this is what I've experienced.

You could call a nurse there and they could explain what exactly they are going to do for you.  I usually get a sheet with the information explaining exactly what the procedure is.  Good luck.

When are you going to get this test? I think you should call the drs office that will be doing this test and have them tell you what will be done and what it is for. Either that or before your test ask them then.
I hope someone else on here has some better answers for you.
