I hear you they can't just come in your home without probable cause or you sold then]m to a officer not for a failed drug test Or can they I'm baffled?
What a wild story. The DEA showing up at the door -- lmost unbelievable. Boggles the mind.
If the DEA shows up here, they're going to stay outside until my lawyer comes over.
No one is responsible for their doctor's prescribing transgressions. The DEA is way out of line on this one.
Definitely ask for another test, something isn't right here. If the DEA is coming at you specifically you may want to consult a lawyer. But it sounds like Dr. McCrookerson that got fired is the one they're after and they have to look at you to get to him... interesting.
I went to a pain management clinic for awhile and one of my tests came back positive for a pain med I had NEVER ever taken in my life. So they sometimes can show wrong results. I asked for another test and the doc said he believed me. Good luck with it all.
If the DEA showed up at your house, I would assume that this is more about the Dr. than you. They usually don't get involved unless a case is really, really big. I second Domino Sarah's question. Why did your Dr. get fired from his practice? As far as your drug test, I would appeal that. You should be able to retake it. These tests (especially the urine tests) are not infallible and have been known to throw both false positives and negatives. I would seek a blood test if possible. Please try not to worry yourself sick about this. Be proactive and protect yourself. Good luck to you!
I would ask for a new test. Something is amiss here since your test didnt even show the meds you take. Did they say why the doc was fired?
