Pain management in Texas

Hello all I had a MRI a while back after months of back pain and results are multiple bulging disk narrowing of the spine and a few other issues I don't even understand yet. My primary dr prescribed me 10/325 pain pills and somas but it just isn't doing the trick and he isn't willing to go with anything stronger. I am 32 years old and on my feet all day and need something stronger for pain I have zero experience with pain management clinics I know stronger pain medication isn't going to solve my problem long term but would be nice to get some relief for now suggestions? It seems the abuse of drugs pegs us all as potential abusers I am currently taking 8 to 12 10/325s a day to deal with the and it's still almost unbearable  i run out of them suggestions on a pain clinic in the Houston area that is good would be great thank you. I do have insurance.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Try non-pharmacological pain management therapies along with pain medications. These are: ice packs, heat pads, massage therapy, physiotherapy, yoga, meditation, hydrotherapy, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), spinal cord stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, other types of neurolytic blocks, aromatherapy, Reiki, acupressure and acupuncture, guided imagery and biofeedback. Usually a combined approach of a pain killer and a non-medication therapy helps give best pain relief. Please consult your doctor regarding this. Take care!
