why voltaren is contraindicated to G6PD?

My inquiry is in regards to a friends concern. i would just like to know why voltaren 75 mg inj. cannot be given to patient with G6PD?why is it that even he has this body pains...he just settles to PANADOL 500mg tablet.,can you enlighten me a little bit why G6PD cannot be treated with voltaren?what is in voltaren that makes it contraindicated in G6PD?i would really appreciate so much if you could give me some information.thank you

Sounds like it can act as a trigger for the anemia the defficency causes.

Also I agree with others who have answered, go see your doctor and get them to explain it.
