You can see updates on Sherry's progress on my thread entitled NamNam46/Sherry's Surgical Update.
Keep those prayers coming. I know she appreciates them. :o)

I'm sorry I was so late to the thread! Hooray for a heated hospital gown. I'm thankful for whoever invented THAT. I'm glad she's got one and was having fun with it, hopefully to distract her from the pain and worry. Even though I know she's been SO brave.
She has been and will be in my thoughts and prayers all day and night today and in the coming days.
I can't wait to hear how good this surgery went and how wonderfully she is recovering.
Thank you for keeping us updated, Tuck!
i crawled out of the pits of sickness here today to check on her, LOL. I hope she has finally had the dang surgery by now and is on her way to feeling much much better soon! I have been thinking of her and wondering how her day went today. Send her a hug for from me...tell her its not contagious this way (I dont think anyhow, lol). Keep us posted, hope we hear an update soon!
Oh My! I sure wish I had one of those heated gowns when I had my shoulder surgery!! They always keep those operating and recovery rooms soooooo cold!!! And of course, the last thing you want to do when you're waking up from anesthesia in pain is shiver! What a wonderful invention!
I'm glad to hear that Sherry is so emotionally comfortable going into surgery - it certainly should make anesthesia and everthing else so much easier.
If you talk to her again before surgery time, please send her another best wishes hug from me.
Sherry is still waiting for surgery in her room. She has a heated hospital gown that she LOVES!! She's playing with the controller for the heat!! LOL
Her concerned daughter is stuck in traffic on her way back to the hospital. Sherry wants everyone to know how much she appreciates your prayers and concern. She says the staff is absolutely wonderful....and that she feels she is in good hands. Her pain is a seven as she anxiously awaits for the doctors to call her for surgery.
I'll continue to update you as I hear!!

Tuck,
Thanks for keeping in contact. I sent her a text message this morning so I hope she got it. Let's all keep her in our thoughts and prayers as she is always so concerned and helpful to all of us. Let's hope for a speedy recovery and that surgery fixes the situation. We love you mama Sherry.
Sherry, I wish you a speedy and pain-free (or at least controlled) recovery! You are wonderful lady that is always supportive to everyone who comes here looking and longing for that support and understanding that's so hard to find in our CP lives. May God guide the surgeon's hands and keep you in arms as you recover.
Thank you Tuck. I"m sure we'll all be on pins and needles.
Yes I've had contact with Sherry again this morning. She arrived safely at the hospital and is awaiting surgery. I will keep you all updated on her progress and will begin a thread as soon as more information is available.
Her surgery is scheduled for early afternoon, AZ time. She's in good spirits and anxious to get this behind her. She is such a sweetheart and is greatly missed when she is not here.
I know she is in everyone's thoughts and prayers as she is mine. I'll pass on imformation to you as soon as I have it again.

I'm sure that Sherry knows we're all praying for her quick recovery after a letter perfect surgery. Her courage prior to surgery is most admirable. (Personally I turn into a quaking bowl of jello before surgery! Just know the recuperation that lies ahead.) She heads into it with head up and total optimism. Special lady.
I know God will listen to all our prayers. She's one of God's special people on this earth and they are rare.
Sherry I too want to wish you my prayers, you have a ton of good vibes going your way from many that appreciate your devotion to the group....

Sending prayers and best thoughts and wishes for an easy, PAINLESS recovery...I've only known you all for a short time, but I feel it's importarnt to return some of the wonderful support that I've gotten...
Have a successful surgery and a quick recovery, Miss Sherry!
Sending prayers for healing and strength up for Sherry and including her surgeon in those prayers for steadfast hands! :-)
Sherry is most definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the surgery goes extremely well and she has a speedy, complete, and relatively pain-free recovery.
Whoever happens to talk to either her or her sister (I understand her sister will be keeping, I believe it was Tuck, apprised as to how she's doing), please be sure to send them my very best - not only for Sherry, but for her sister as well.
