Bad persistent pain

Just want to share to see what yall think might be causing this.
Starting earlier today I noticed that after I urinated I was having intense pain in my lower back. No burning while peeing. Then I started having worsening, persistent pain on my left side under my ribcage. It hurts when I move and is tender to the touch. My other question is should I just call and try to get an appt. to see my doctor or go to urgent care? TY for listening.

It sounds like it may be a kidney infection.  A lot of times when I've gotten them, I don't have the burning either.  I would definetly recommend seeing the doctor ASAP.  If you can't get in tomorrow and the pain gets really bad, I would go to the ER.  Those things can be dangerous.

Okay thank you Jaded,  I was thinking that too but I am also worried about stones as well I did get an appointment today but I will call them tomorrow. I have noticed today the pain in my lower back spreading to my sides/flank area under ribs.
