l5 disc pain

Aslam-o-Alakum,

Dear Sir,


I have problem in last 9months that i have a pain of L5 disc space,

My age is 26years,and i have lift 45kgs weighted dry battry and after some days i have feel a pain in by back i have a x-ray the and the report is that a l-5 disk sapace,

i checked some neurosargen and that told that it was a disc problem, i have now worry todays 24hurs pain in my back and of legs and end in the heel,
a SHOCK feel once and a pain started in my back and i have not able to bend himself, after some time i have ok and after some hour ,minutes one Shock Again and pain will be started,

Sir, I have a great prolem faced to day i have no able to hard or soft  working i am unable to bend my body,


please tell me some  treatment i have to obliged to you,

Hello and welcome to the MedHelp Pain Forum,

I am very sorry to hear of the pain you're having. What did the Neurosurgeon recommend? Did he mention that you may require surgery to repair you Disc? It sounds as if this may be your only option to relieve the pain.

I would recommend that you rest as much as possible. Do not lift, bend or do anything to put extra stress on the area. When these things as mentioned, you will continue to experience excruciating pain.

Please keep in close contact with you Neurosurgeon and do as he suggests. I have experienced back problems such as yours and surgery was my only option to relieve my pain. I am glad that I went through with the surgery as it did relieve my symptoms and let me continue with my life. Don't get me wrong, I am not pain free, just better and able to function at a much better level.

Again, I am sorry that you are experiencing such pain but it will get better. Feel free to keep us informed of your progress...This is a great site with knowledgeable members and people who care.
