Hello,
I do not want to scare you or cause you undue concern but sometimes heart pain is felt in the back. I may be 150% wrong but I would certainly have this looked into when you experience your next attack. Good luck to you, Tuck
Welcome to the community! I agree with TMA..don't let any dr brush you off..i would absolutely get anothe opinion. I've done that more than once-sometimes a couple of times. Please find a dr that you are comfortable with. Ask alot of questions...I always go to appointments with a list, I think we all get nervous before going to a dr..and tend to forget things we want to discuss with the dr. You are paying for the visit, you have a right to get the answers you deserve...i've had problems with my back and neck..it's not easy..but persevere and know that there are others going through what you are....
If you have insurance you might want to check with your dr about any diagnostic tests..x-rays, mri's ,blood work..I hope you get the answers you deserve..Let us know how you make out....lol tresa
Hi fizzymoon, Welcome to the community!
Your DR is right, back pain is hard to diagnose. But dont ever feel like your bothering anyone with it. Pain and discomfort are our bodies way of telling us that there is something wrong and you deserve to know what is going on and get back to being as comfortble and healthy as you can be.
I'm not too familiar with back pain so am not sure I can give to many suggestions on wjhat the problem may be.
If your DR now doesnt seem to be concerned in finding the answer I would advise you to get another opinion. Dont let anyone brush your symtoms off.
In the meantime have you tried warm baths? I know you said lying down with heat helps. Maybe get some epsom salts and try mixing them with a warm to hot bath. Epsoms are known to numb the nerves so may help.
I'm sure as people come on throughout the day they'll be able to give you more suggestions.
I hope your able to find the answers you need to get this discomfort taken care of.
TMA
