Hi Nat,
Welcome to the Pain Management Forum of MedHelp. I am glad you found us. Your profile says you are 11 but I see your post says you are 21. I'm hoping that is the case as you say you are drinking and smoking every Friday night.
I agree with the previous posters. You need to be evaulated by a physician. Woman display cardiac issues very differently than men do. So the "usual" symptoms may not apply to the female sex.
It could be something you are doing every day or often that you are not even aware you are doing. That activity could be iritating your sterum. If could be a virus or inflammation in the area. So I suugest that you inform your PCP asap.
Best of luck to you. I am hopeful that you will let us know how you are doing. I will look forward to your next post. Take Care, Tuck
i definately agree, you should call your doc and let them know what is going on. geez if you have anything busted or broken in your sternum area you may need immidiate attention to have medicatioin reverse or fix the problem. i would have my first question to ask you if you have lifted anything heavy or have been doing work. please call your doctor and dont mess around with this, you have no idea what could be causing it therefore you dont know how serious it may or may not be. keep us posted!! good luck and call your doctor.
First and foremost ~ call your doctor. Have you been outside working in the yard, like raking, digging holes, etc? One time I had a pain in my chest and went to the doctors right away. The questions I listed above were questions he asked me. What I had done was strained my chest muscles due to overworking in the yard. You may have lifted something and it pulled a muscle. I'm not sure. When it comes to chest pain I don't mess around. I call the doc.
