I ate borscht which is a cold beet soup and immediately had allergy symptoms in my uvula and my knuckle hurt for the first time in my life. I had been told to try to eliminate capsaicin and black pepper and red pepper and cayenne and paprika from my diet and possibly eggplant so having a reaction to beet soup surprised me. Then I looked up the nightshade family and found that not only are spices and peppers and eggplant and potatoes and ketchup all come from the same family, but in the sentence that followed it said beets have the same ingredient which is a natural pesticide. An allergist told me that food allergies do not show up well on tests neither positively nor negatively. So one is supposed to do an elimination diet for 3 months. I sure hope I am not allergic to tomatoes and to sweet peppers.
Hi, Are you taking calcium supplements? Sometimes calcium could cause spurs or tightness and they hurt. Magnesium supplements will correct whatever pain calcium could be causing though it will take time. I had this kind of pain, I stopped taking calcium, it got better.
For the meantime, you could use Emu oil to the area, it gets deep into the tissues, non scented, it works for everything. it also helps gout, arthritis bumps, its an all around pain reliever. They have it on Amazon.
Did your test not say anything about gout ? Any redness ? swelling ?
. Magnesium Glycinate supplementation could prevent gout attacks or the like.- Its $4.00 per bottle of 90 pills on line.
Mg is a very helpful daily health supplement, it will also help prevent diabetes, heart problems, blood pressure, help with anxiety, sleep soundly, its a relaxation pill.. Everyone should be on it - with Vit D and calcium foods. They work together,.
And it will help with your pain. Good luck. I wish you well.
