maybe you can help me...

symptoms-
shoulders-grinds,pops,severe pain when throwing, fatigued easily, burning sensation,no redness or swelling.same with my left shoulder now.

neck-pain in the top of my neck into the bottom of my head, followed by stiffness

knees-left one hurts more at times, pops, grinds when extended,at times becomes very painful where i cant even put weight on it or straighten it.

i got my blood tests back today which were negative for rheumatoid and Lyme arthritis.pain comes and goes whenever it feels like it.so ive been trying to figure out what it could be and its making me go insane.i guess the worse thing to do is try to diagnose yourself.im 19 by the way..i went to a rheumatologist today and he basically told me and didnt know what to do.so he put me on antimflamatory medication and told me that i would have to wait and see if that would do anything.so what do i do.is there a different type of doctor i can go to or what?

ive been seen by three orthopedic specialists and i had 2 mris done on my shoulder and an ultrasound and still they cant figure what is causing it.and also had cortizone injected in my shoulder which did absolutely nothing.

I have the same problems with my shoulders. I had surgery to tighten/shorten the ligaments which sadly did not help. But your symptoms sound similar to mine.

Hello jhyland and welcome to the Pain Forum. In my opinion, this sounds like a case of AC Joint Osteoarthritis but I am not a Doctor.

The acromioclavicular (AC) joint in the shoulder is a common spot for osteoarthritis to develop in middle age. Degeneration of the AC joint can be painful and can cause difficulty using the shoulder for everyday activities. I also believe that your Knee can be affected in the same way.

Arthroscopic Distal Clavicle Excision VideoSome joints in the body are more likely to develop problems from normal wear and tear. Degeneration causes the cartilage that cushions the joint to wear out. This type of arthritis is called osteoarthritis. Doctors sometimes refer to this type of arthritis as arthrosis.

There are some really good weg sites on Osteoarthritis. It might be worth the time to investigate this because of your symptoms.

Please take care and good luck with everything. Let us know what the outcome is.

Medical science is good, but it is not infallible. Be persistent until you have a diagnosis and get the treatment you need! And, let us know what you find out. Good luck.

The knee problem might be related to a torn miniscus(the disc in between the knee joint that softens impact and makes movement more fluid)
I have torn both of my miniscus when leg pressing 1600lbs.  You said you've had mri's done on your shoulder, what about your neck? If not, get your orthopedic doctor to authorize an MRI of the neck w/o contrast. As for the shoulder, I don't really have a definitive answer, maybe a rotator cuff injury...Don't qoute me on that one.LOL
Good luck.
