The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, fatigue. Did your doc explain why he chose this drug over another. Suboxene works very very well with pain,,I take a low dose and its great and similar to Vivitrol (naltrexone) also make sure you carry a card around with you saying you take this medication in case of emergency medical needs. There is certain proceedures to go through for pain managment if the need arise,,they also have stickers you can place on your ID that say your on the drug. Call 1800-896-5855 about getting one of these cards or stickers. Also have you tried Lyrica its wonderful for that burning pain, its worked well for me. Good luck and have a wonderful night :)
I know there are studies on subexone but I haven't heard of many taking naltrexone. It is primarily a drug for achhol and opoid dependence but it does have pain relieving properities. If it works for you then that is great that you have something to help with the pain:)
Low dose naltrexone (LDN), where the drug is used in doses approximately one-tenth those used for drug/alcohol rehabilitation purposes, is being used by some as an "off-label" experimental treatment for certain immunologically-related disorders, including HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis Parkinson's, cancer, autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis, and central nervous system disorders.
Just keep in mind that it will block the effects of opoids.
