2 year old vomiting at night

My daughter is two years old and this past Sunday she woke up vomiting. At the time we thought that most likely she had gotten into some bad food because her Father had picked her up a chicken tenders kids meal late that night when the place was about to close. Well she fell back to sleep that morning and when she woke back up she was fine. She was playing and running and laughing all day. She even rode a carousel! Well that night (Sunday)while she was sleeping she threw up again. She also threw up when she woke up that morning. When I say she's throwing up I'm not just talking about a small amount like spit up she is throwing up a lot. Well after she threw up that first time monday morning she was fine again all day and just as happy as could be. Again on monday night and Tuesday morning she threw up again.
I have been nursing my daughter every since she was born and I'm wondering if there is any way possible that somehow my milk is making her sick. She nurses a little during the day still but mostly at night because she sleeps in the same bed with me. She uses it to go back to sleep when she wakes up and to fall asleep in the first place. I don't think that it is the chicken anymore because it seems like that would keep her sick all day and not just at night. Thanks for any help you can give.

For the last few days my Daughter who is now 6 has been complaining in the morning when she wakes that her tummy is "hot" and if she eats anything, it usually reappears within about an hour. When it does she feels very warm all over her body, however, normally after she has thrown up, if she has a cool drink or a rest, then she is fine for the rest of the day, she will eat lunch and dinner and have no more issues. Can anyone offer any suggestions what may be causing this?

My four year old and my two year old are doing the same thing all of your children are doing. It started as a minor cough, the cough went away. Then the runny nose started and it went away. Now anytime either of them cough(at night) they do it so hard they vomit. Their doctor's office keeps saying "It's just a bug going around" and that unless they get a fever, not to worry. Well, this "bug" has stuck around for over four months.

Seeing all this other posts scare the heck out of me. Makes me wonder what is going on. How many of you are on the East Coast?

My daughter, has also been sick like that. At first I thought it was because of to much, sugar. (we has a family sleep over and both of the kids had way to much sugar) But as we got in to the first week of this, she cut out the sweets and continued to vomit. Than we thought it was because she might have an alleragy to red dye. Now were at the start of our third week, and the doctor says it might be gerd! Well thats all find and dandy but why is she having diarrhea in the morning?

my 2 1/2 year old went thro the same thing... 6 nights in a row waking up in the middle of the night throwing up only once and going right back to sleep.  i was at my wits end not knowing what to do and a friend of mine ( who is the head of the ER and a mother if a 4 year old) said it was allergy, has been on clariten and has not been sick since ( almost a month).  Also i notices that if she played out side in the warm weather she would get sick early in the night ( 3 hours after bed).  she wasnt eating much durring the day but was full of energy her normal busy self.  A little bit of a runny nose but that was it.  as it gets warmer out she is getting more of the algery symptms ( coughing, puffy, itchy eyes ect) we are still working on making those symptems better.  She has been up the last two nights coughing ( but no throw up thankfully).  We tryed a natural hunny "Medicine" which has worked so far tonight... hopefully this has helped someone...

My 3 1/2 year old daughter is going through the same thing. For the past 2 weeks she's only been vomiting at night, perfect as a peach during the day. What happens is, she will wake up sometime's (like last night) she will run to our bedroom doorway to see if we are asleep) she will start coughing, then she will throw up. Sometimes she does it in her bed and sometimes she does it in the toilet. Almost everytime it sounds like she is making herself cough. and i have heard her making herself gag. We have a new 4 month old baby, and at first we thought it was an attention thing, but i don't know now. i don't have a very good relationship with my ped, she just doesn't like to listen to me when i talk and i can't change because of my insurance. I'm worried and don't know what to do. Sometimes it sound like she's faking it, and sometimes it sounds real. But like last night i woke up to the sound of her running back to her bedroom, i got up and she didn't know, i saw her sit on her bed, start making herseft cough, then i went in and told her to stop. she would stop until i left the room for a minute, then she would start up again. i went back in, told her to stop, she did. i had to do this about 2 more times and then she just went to sleep. But i don't always catch her and she'll make herself cough and gag till she pukes. i'm so worried. i don't know what to do to get it to stop. i'm not sure if it's always fake or if this is really a problem. please help. i just don't know what to do.
