2yrs old stretching or tumble?

Everytime my MIL watches my son she loves to have him do vigorous exercise, like pushing his legs hard to his head like folding & unfolding him in half back and forth, and making him to do forward tumbles, plus she catches his legs to do 'bicycle' vigoursly (not gently) while he can ride a tricycle. I think it is not necesaary for a 2 yrs old to do such stretching and tumbles as he runs around all day and has enough exercise. I am concerned of the safety as his little neck and joints are still not as strong as big kids who can do gymnastics.

Am I wrong to think it is unnecessary?
Thanks!

I agree with you and maybe tell her you are concerned about it , if she is caring she will see your worry and stop and do some milder games .

You have the right to ask your mother-in-law not to do anything to your child that makes you uncomfortable.
