5 yr old with constant stomach and leg pain

My five year old is having issues. She for a while now has had leg and stomach pain. She is scheduled tomorrow with the doc but I can not help pondering. Nothing seems to make it worse or better for her. I feel like the odds are stacked against her with the illnesses on both maternal and paternal side. On the maternal side we have leukemia, bone cancer, rheumatoid arthritis and scleroderma. On the paternal side we face rheumatoid arthritis, and  anklosying spondylitis. She also has a cousin on the maternal side that just recovered from wilms cancer. Any help is appreciated as I feel like the biggest worry wart right now and need to ease my mind. I do not attribute it to growing pains because it is an almost daily occurrence for her. Please help!

oh I am so relieved to hear this news,it may simply be growing pains, they can be painful especially at night, if it hurts a lot ask the Doctor what pain killer you can give her...so happy for you

yes. we had a complete CBC done. they are specifically looking for leukemia, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile arthritis. the elevated leukocytes in her urine is what causes them to look at leukemia. all I can do is hope and pray for the best.

That's good as they dont very often listen too much, its good to write down any questions you want to ask him, and tell him you have a list ..I am hoping its all good news for you, let us know when you hear , did he suggest some tests ?.

We went to doctor. They ruled out wilms cancer and sent s for blood work to see about other issues. It is the first time a doctor actually, I felt, listened to me and addressed what we are worked about. We will know more in three to five days
