My friend's 2 year old niece has a skin discoloration problem since birth and it's itching.  Is there Doctors out there can help?

Okay, yes, then.  If it is a rash or eczema, a dermatologist can REALLY help.  Even a primary care doctor can start you in the right direction.  Some itches take a steroid cream.  I'd even try simple Cortaid bought over the counter for it to see if it helps.  But under a dermatologists care is best.  good luck

Hi,

It's not a birth mark. My friend describes it as inflammation, itchy, rash, and uncomfortable.  I wish there is a way to post pictures may be it will be more understandable.  Thank you!

Hi there.  Is it a birth mark??  I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about.  Often a birth mark fades over time.  I had a strawberry mark on my stomach during childhood that is completely gone now as an adult.  So, I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about and some more detail would be helpful.  Down the road, perhaps a plastic surgeon/dermatologist combination could help.  peace and luck
