My daughter randomly throws up

I have a 4 almost 5 year old daughter.  In the past year, I have noticed she has had a handful of times where she had a stomach ache and then threw up, but was completely fine after that.  Her stomach ache has lasted no longer than an hour before she throws up.  I know she is not throwing up on purpose to get attention.  What I don't know is, could this be the begining of a stomach problem for her.  I have looked up signs and symptoms for acid reflux and I'm curious if she may have that.  Also, my husband mentioned the possibility of a stomach ulcer.  I don't think it is that, but I guess the possibility is there.
When she was a baby, she started off on GoodStart formula, and then got switched over to Similac.  She did perfectly fine on GoodStart but had a terrible time with Similac.  She would throw up every bottle she ate (the entire bottle) and then fuss because she was hungry again.  The dr just said she may have a milk allergy or be lactos intolerant.  I didn't believe either of those two things bc she did fine on the GoodStart formula and it was milk based. He changed her to the Similac Isomil Advanced (Soy Formula).  She did better on that but I still didn't believe it was the milk.
She also did fine when she turned 1 and started drinking regular milk.  Over the years, I just let it go and stopped thinking about it.  But now she is randomly getting stomach aches and throwing up.  This happened yesterday morning.  She told me when we woke up that her stomach hurt and within 30 min. she threw up.  It was all just stomach fluids.  There was nothing solid in it, and I'm sure that it burned when it came up.  After that she ate breakfast with no problem and then lunch and dinner with no problem.  She felt fine the rest of the day.  I have also noticed these episodes mainly happen in the morning, but they don't happen often enough for me to connect it with anything.  However, they are happening enough for me to notice them and become concerned.
Has anyone else had these experiences themselves or with their children that can give me any ideas on what this might be and if I might need to get her stomach checked out.  Anything would be greatly appreciated!
