Hard blister like lumps on my 2 year old sons feet

About 4 weeks i noticed on the side of my 2 year old son's foot a small area about the size of a thumb nail of red raised looking pimples. He suffers with eczema so i was using his hydrocortizone cream on the area. The noticed it was getting worse and blister looking lumps started appearing. I took him to the doctors as i though it might be a fungal infection, which was correct. Been using the cream for a week now and the symptoms have just got worse and have spread to a rash up his legs on his elbows and now all over his feet and hands. I took him to the emergency doc yesterday and they said he has had a reaction to the fungal cream he was prescribed. I am now sure how accurate this is and have been searching on the net for answers. The area which was first affected on his foot has now cleared up from the blisters but is still very red with big crusts of skin peeling away. His feet are the worse effected with hard filled lumps covering the entire soles of his feet.

I took a look at the pics I am not certain it looks like a fungus, it could be an allergy , i would get another opinion, has he had new shoes recently, socks, try to think of any new materials the areas may have come in contact with ,as you have tried hydrocortisone cream and found it hasnt worked , you may need something stronger only a Doctor can prescribe . I dont think chamomile will help its pretty mild .I think a second opinion is needed.good luck.

Hi, thank you for your comment. I have posted some pics on my album so people can have a look at his foot and arms. The pics are not that great and look alot red and angry in real life. I have searched that Hydrolatum and will ask my pharmacy about it when i go later. I was thinking about applying chamomile lotion on him tonight to help with the scratching.

I really just do not know what to do for the best. If he has a fungal on his foot then why is it not clearing up after a week with the cream, just very confused.
