Vaginal Problems 9yr Old

I have a 9year old niece who grew up with one side of her labia majora unusually swollen.

Just last night she bled in her undies and says that it hurts a little when she urinates and experiences a bit of pain/discomfort in her inner/lower abdomen.

I took her to the doctors only to be advised to bring her back if the bleeding starts again.

The bleeding has discontinued since last night which makes me doubt the she's gotten her first period.

Please help

You  need to take her to see a specialist.  Don't wait.  Begin with a gynecologist first and then go from there.  It'll be a long road ahead of you before you find someone that will be able to truly treat her and give her a proper diagnosis.  I hope the best for her.
