what could be the cause of searing hot pains in the back of the head behind the ears with a fleeting black out at 1st onset in a 13 yr. old boy?

Maybe good to let it drop unless he wants to talk about it, if kids are bullying remember you can speak to the teachers for some help .good luck

He says it doesn't bother him anymore, but I believe it does. Anyway, he's going to be alright, and thanks for your concern, and input.

Many children do feel jealous of siblings in the family children at school can be mean sometimes did he get over that part they use homosexuality as a weapon .whether its true or not ..Some counseling would be good for him .

I am his Nana, and he likes to hang around me every chance he gets. His problems consist of a number of things. Some years back the kids at school called him gay, which he is not. He just isn't butch. And he has jealousy issues with the 8 yr old grand that I am raising. He and his mom used  to live with me. He is a sweet boy, and I would get him some counseling if had charge, but I spend a lot of time talking to him.

are you not his mom ? what would he be stressed over that much ?

Thanks for your input, and he is better. I alerted his mom, and I am keeping up with it. He has asthma, and is somewhat high strung. I think he stresses out over everything , which could be a factor.

maybe a migraine ..they can be severe but I would have him looked at by your Doctor ,the black out is concerning  How is he doing now has there been any change in him ?
