cyst in head

my daughter who is 13 yrs old has a hump in her right side of head,is noted for past 1yr,is it harmful?

I think you mean a bump/lump it could be a cyst but as always its best to have it checked out,what part of her head is it located if its near her lower head / neck may be a Lymph node perfectly normal ..
