Hi everyone,
I saw a naturopathic doctor today. We discussed my issues. I told him I was diagnosed with gut inflammation and acid reflux.(too much acid) He said usually it’s the other way around. Instead of the stomach producing too much acid it is actually not enough acid. This can cause food to sit in the stomach too long not be broken down properly. Which I have heard this before but I never took it seriously. I mentioned to him about the tongue coating and other issues that I have had for the past 8 years. I told him about the ACV that I recently started drinking before eating and how my tongue has cleared up . He said ACV increases stomach acid. I did not know that. He also said not chewing your food thoroughly can cause low stomach acid and inflammation over time. I must say that I am guilty of eating on the go and not realizing that I was not chewing my food enough for it to digest. So he wants me to continue with the ACV. He also said to slow down with my meals . I will do this for two weeks before returning. I have not been out to see if I am still getting reactions but I will keep you informed. I think I will clean out my system and then start fresh,
